I chose 9 images that tell a story of the contrast between the simplicity, beauty, and life of untouched nature and the busyness, complexity, and lack of life that that can be found in man-made, fabricated creations. I set these images up in this order to show the contrast of the images alternating between the two sets and chose to contrast the soft light of the sunrise on the dunes with the urban photos in black and white to greater emphasize the contrast of “life” and “death.”
